The Gala Management and Business Innovation Journal (GMBIJ) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (March and September) by Literasi Gala Publikasi. GMBIJ is dedicated to advancing the field of management science, with a specific emphasis on the application of management theories and practices within contemporary business and industrial environments across the globe. The journal serves as a platform for critical inquiry into both how management is practiced (descriptive) and how it ought to be practiced (normative) in varied organizational contexts.
GMBIJ encourages contributions that examine management practices in diverse organizational forms, including for-profit and non-profit organizations, public and private sector institutions, and both formal and informal social networks. The journal is particularly interested in research that contributes to the understanding of core areas in management such as strategic management, organizational behavior, innovation management, leadership, operations, and human resources.
It welcomes a wide range of methodological approaches. In addition to quantitative and positivist research, GMBIJ also values qualitative and interpretivist approaches such as case studies, phenomenology, ethnomethodology, and action research. Submissions are expected to employ rigorous research methods and to provide meaningful contributions to both theoretical development and practical implementation in the field of management and business innovation.
By embracing a global perspective on the evolving nature of management in today’s complex and interconnected world, GMBIJ aims to foster scholarly dialogue and promote innovative thinking that bridges academic insight with real-world managerial challenges.
